Email Setup

When using email with your hosting account with us you can set up your email in outlook or on your phone.

Our email uses auto discovery technology – so in some cases you may be able to enter just the username (your email) and your password and your phone will do the rest for you (very handy).

Samsung App –
On the first screen after opening the app on the ‘Set up Email’ screen, select ‘other’
Enter your ‘email address‘ and ‘password‘
Click ‘Sign in‘

Let the app do it’s thing and after a short while ‘select account type’ appears.

Select IMAP account. (Important!) – the app will then show you a screen with all the setting auto filled in, just select sign in at the bottom of the screen and you are good to go.

If only very recent emails show – select the menu icon next to the ‘Inbox’ (top left of screen) – then the cog icon on the next page (top right), then select your email address at the top of the screen and on the next screen you can change the email sync period to view older emails.

Below are the email settings you can use if you need them to set email up manually.

Account type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: imap.stackmail.com.
Outgoing mail server: smtp.stackmail.com.
Incoming server port (IMAP): 993
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server port (SMTP): 465
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

In outlook, when setting up your account, please choose More Settings > Outgoing Server and check the box for ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’.
